Thanks to all that came and a great turn-out of 34 entrants?

Thanks to Scott for a surprise last minute I can make it, to make his famous breakfast burrito's 8)
We can call him "Burrito Scott"??
They are awesome too!
I need to buy you a beer or two/three Scott "Thanks"

For 2013 season I hope that we can do a minimum of 4 events and get this program rolling with such an interest we should be able to do so.
Tony and others will be helping to get it off the ground as well.
Sites are the biggest hurdle and if anybody knows of a place please let Tony or myself know so we can check it out.

Hope to see the results here, it may take a day or two new people and all.

Thanks again for your support/help

John

I like how we're two for two on picking muddy wet days. Still fun as all heck! :D

Pictures!
Rally Cross
Sorry if some (if not all) of the action pics are blurry, I think my camera wasn't focusing correctly. Also, I didn't get a picture of everyone in the second run group, I had to leave before it was over.
I am fine with the pictures going on Facebook, but I DO NOT want the gallery link going there. Thanks.

It was another fantastic event. We had a great turnout and a great variety of cars. I was worried the 2wd cars would have a bad time like they did last time, but the weather and track suited them nicely. I was happy to provide some food for everyone, Its an important part of racing! Thanks all who gave me a couple bucks, I was able to cover the cost of food. :) I will work on getting some dates set with Tony and John for late January, Hopefully at Johns place!

You sure it wasn't because we were all so fast?! Thanks Joe!

Thanks for snapping the pictures Joe!

Does anyone recall what the date was of the rallycross event that the Nebraska region guys talked about? It's not listed on their website.

Our working schedule shows our first two rallycrosses will be Feb 17th and march 24th at I-80 speedway. The schedule should be on the website in the next couple of weeks.

What are you talking about!?? If I hadn't ran out of gas on my 2nd and 3rd runs and ran them as fast as my 1st I would have had an end time of about 344 coming in 3rd overall with a 2wd 80hp 60 year old car. I never heard anyone with a 2wd car complain in January either, I guarantee the rwd guys are having the most fun out there.

Haha! I know the 2wd had a good time, I think what is stuck in my head was the red miata that hardly could go anywhere once the course was torn up in January. That car of yours looks like it was a blast out there!

Not gonna lie, the RWD guys looked like they were having a blast. Steve, your car was pretty awesome out there. If rallycross takes off like I hope it does, I already have plans for a modified RWD car dedicated to rally. AWD is fun, but RWD looks even more so.
