 Post subject: Tires for rallycross

If it stays dry will my mazda2 be ok running on star specs or should i have the all seasons mounted?

Go drive around in your yard for a while on the star specs and see. I'm guessing the all-seasons would be a lot better.

I'm not an expert at RallyX... only worked at one and didn't drive, but I'd think snow tires like Dunlop Winter Sports are probably about the best, unless you're going to spring for full-on rallycross race tires.

if you have all season tire put them on.
i had my all seasons on last time in the slush, and there were even good then.

alot of people run firestone winterforce snow tires. They are cheap and have an aggressive tread pattern. Plus they are just an all around good winter tire. Pretty loud on the road but really hard to beat for the price in the snow and ice.
