I entered my first vintage races this weekend. Ran four races with HVR at Hastings. It was a blast, the cars have character and the racing is tight.

Looks like fun.

Am I the only one that thought "Mario Cart" with all of those little cars?

Good race! That first car drove like he had no mirrors, he was cutting you off every chance he could. Did the first car miss a shift to give you the edge to pass him, or did you hit the NOS button to get around both of them? :D

Thanks for sharing, I like your in car camera set up with graphics, what brand is it?

There are a few of those smartphone lap timer apps available. You can run them on an iPhone, iPod Touch, or Android phone. You have camera, accelerometer and GPS built in to the phone.

There are accessories like a Bluetooth OBD-II dongle that gets Tach and other data from your car's ECU, assuming it's new enough to have OBD-II, unlike Steve's Mini, or our antique '91 Miata.

Nice video and set up. Great to see the differences in HP vs handling.

(Turns 11 and 12 still own your butt though)
