Come on out and see one of the cheapest and most fun ways to get started in racing wheel to wheel. Cars that allegedly cost $500 will be running the roval for 24hrs straight. Last year our team took 6th out of 38 cars and ran over 1200 laps!

Green flag drops Saturday at 11am and the checkered flies Sunday at noon. Show up at anytime and watch. ( Enter through the tunnel entrance, everyone comes into the garage/paddock area. ) Someone is always awake and wanting the company! Last year we had people coming out at 2am so don't be shy!

Kahosman, Prez, Yo, and John Jacobs, will be racing #48 hopefully to a podium finish this year!!

We had one of those weiner dogs when I was a kid, but he never liked being around cars much....
:P

I am going to try to get out there, is there a cost for admission, how does that work?

Chump car generally doesnt have entry fees. At least they didn't last year. Basically, just drive around the back of the track, go through the tunnel, park somewhere, and come find us.

If they do charge anything, it will be like $20, but i'm doubting it.

I hope to make it out again this year. Was a good time...and pretty cool being down in the pits.

The MINI club will be stopping after their Saturday cruise through Pella. If you see a bunch of MINIs pull in wave and give them a tour of what is going on.

Just talked to the guys, things are going well, I think they said they're in 5th or 8th place (hard to hear).

It does cost $15 to get into the track. I'm going out shortly (about 4pm) if anyone wants to ride along give me a call on my cell, 770-1127.

Congrats to the Freecandy team on their 3rd place finish. Great group of drivers + a very reliable car, I wouldn't be surprised to see them with a 1st place finish some day.

I made it out for a while Saturday evening, had a fun time watching, helped with the radio, and a little bit on some pit stops.

Had a great time everyone, specially with a 3rd place a cool trophy and 5 Benjiman Franklins :D

Put over 1,300 miles on the car in the 24 hours, I think Mike had the best lap at 60.080 or something :!:

Thanks to those that showed up to help Dave, Randy, Tony and others.
Special thanks to Randy coming out at that crazy 3-6 am hour helping out which seems to be the toughest hours!
Or should I say help keeping some of us awake

We made 317 laps until something punch a hole the size of your fist through the side of our block. Then while changing the engine out a team members hand got crushed and broke a finger. We turned out a best time of 60.317 in a car without brakes so we were doing fairly well.

Sorry to see you guys having trouble with the Z, looked like it was doing well before then.

I got a picture of it in the pits when you pulled in about 9:30pm.

Missed it coming down pit road with the smoke rolling out - I thought you were on fire. Here's the one I got:
