I leave tomorrow to race in the 24 Hours of LeMons at MSR Houston.

Here is our Q45 race car.

I think we are going to do it again at the October event in Ohio. Here are some pictures from the Houston event.

Watch your etiquette while racing because, while we voted for the team that was currently in first (after some black flags they didn't win anyways), it seems most people were voting for whoever was the biggest d*ck on the track.

Also they started some new things at our event. We were the first to get rolling yellows instead of full course.

The second is that they had a system that you could send a text message on your phone of what car or position you wanted to see and they will tell you what place its in, last lap time, best lap, number of laps and other information. Very cool.

So, how did you do in Texas? And did you get contact info for the MGB-GT guys? Limey could probably use their advice! 8)

That is really cool. Great idea for people wanting to keep up with the event, both there and friends that want to see how you are doing back home.

Ric here is a picture of the MGB guys about to be run over by an American car! I didn't get their contact information but they said they were posting on internet forums. They have a collection of bugeye sprites that they drive around.

Wow, I can't believe the number of cars on the track. It looked like tons of competitors.

There was 95 teams at our event, and with four to six drivers per team there was a lot of people there! Biggest drivers meeting I have ever been in.
